He is a 1957 graduate of Monessen High School, a 1961 graduate of Penn State University and a 1964 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law.

Bergstein is a recipient of the prestigious President's Award from the Westmoreland Bar Association, which recognizes outstanding professionalism in the practice of law.

Attorney Mark S. Galper joined the firm in 1981, after having served for a year as a judicial law clerk in Fayette County.

He graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1980. After his first year of law school, he was invited to join the law school’s Law Review, having completed the year within the top ten percent of his class.

Galper graduated with highest honors from the University of Pittsburgh College of Arts and Sciences in 1976. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the distinguished academic honorary society.

Galper enjoys working on the more complicated medical issues that can arise in injury and disability cases. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to Social Security Disability cases, and also practices in the areas of family law and commercial litigation.

Galper has been elected to membership in the Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers, and belongs to the Pennsylvania and Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations, as well as to the Westmoreland and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. He serves as Solicitor for the Monessen Ambulance Service, the Borough of Belle Vernon, and the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Monessen. Galper is Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of the Monessen Public Library and District Center and a Past President of the Monessen Lion's Club.
